I was quite sure the deck was decorated beautifully. A few lights and a manger scene. Our little Buddy dog loves the scene from his doggy chair. A couple days ago the temperature warmed for one day and melted the snow off the deck. The next morning an unsigned artist (we all know who) decorated the deck boards…with temps far below freezing I was hoping but half expected to hear “take your shoes off, you are standing on a Holy Deck”

Does God really care about the tiny details of our life? My question was immediately answered in my thoughts…Probably more than God putting his graffiti art in frost in tiny detail on deck boards (Click on boards to enlarge).
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not [a]arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? (Matthew 6: 28-30).
Warming up my feet now…

Gary

Have a great Christmas Linda. Yes, God leaves big and small hints all over the place.

fixed them Karla…oh the tiny details…yes.
girls are hugged. They are playing a game while the house creaks from temps lowering fast and high winds growl outside. Buddy growling back….ya, he the dog! Go Bud! Keeping camera handy and spare batteries warmed in pocket these days.

yep Joy, I get all tingly finding those things…I have to keep in mind those who have no appreciation for that kind of thing…some are my relatives who have semi-secret thoughts that I’m a bit daft sometimes and strange the rest. It’s that artist brain that skipped them and got me….God put those treasures out there for some of us to find and share

Keep that precious daftness, Gary!

You’re right, Gary. Those designs etched in the frost reminded me of etchings of some South Pacific islands. Who but God of the warmest Heart would send a message, printed in frost, of His warmest thoughts of love? Thanks for sharing this.

fixed them Karla. I know He cares more than any of us can understand in details so small me cannot see them all…someday…and girls got hugs…they are playing a game they like. House is creaking as temps dropping fast in high winds…Buddy doesn’t like it and it’s an excuse for lap hunting.

Thanks Barb. It pays to have a camera handy at all times, especially for rare things like frost art

My grandma used to call it horror frost, when it was on farmhouse windows.

Oh that’s funny. She was close. It’s technically hoarfrost…we had to learn that as kids as the school windows were covered on really cold days… https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/blog/2019/02/what-is-hoar-frost/
